Over the past few months, I have added more than a thousand individuals to the family tree. Mostly, these additional folk are indirectly related to us. For example, these are parents or siblings of people who married relatives. As such, a lot of these additional folks add richness to our family stories but don’t actually help build out our family. Still, it’s fun adding to the tree and there’s still plenty more to do. At the start of the year, we had just over a couple of thousand individuals in the tree – now we’re closing in on 4000.
